Not much point in doing anything until the new game comes out, IMO. Tough to trade, etc when you don't even know what your team will need.

there are at least 3 or 4 teams that never post in these forums and one that hasnt even been on BZ since October also just no chatter around here I dont care about trades and such I can understand people being scared to trade at this point

though I believe personally we should have the FA draft before the rankings come out it is easy to pick players when they have a # associated with them. It would show really guts and really intuitiveness (sp) to predict what a player will be and draft him based upon your own assesment.

I think most will be active once the draft comes around. It's tough to remain active when there is nothing to do. I thought it was pretty active last year, for the most part. Hopefully the new managers will be better than the ones that left.

I can agree with your sentiment, however, there is a level of trust then that the game designers "get it right" when evaluating players. If you pick up a budding super star, but they give him below average stats, then he get hosed.

I completely agree. Sometimes I feel like I watch more football than the people who make the Madden rankings. Like 'why the f is Mike Williams an 87 overall and Coy Wire an 80 overall?'

Though it seemed like they did a good job ranking guys in Year One of the sim league.
