    American Football fans riot after Superbowl

    Police in riot gear have fired tear gas and rubber bullets at Oakland Raiders fans who rioted after their team lost the Super Bowl.

    They smashed up a fast food restaurant and left parts of the California city strewn with burned cars.

    At least 23 people were arrested, mostly for public drunkenness.     more...
