Their passes seem to be a tad off especially in the Offensive Zone or this game would be 3-0 after 1.

Kovalev scores a goal that shouldn't have counted. The guy who passed it to Kovalev was offside. I replayed the goal on my DVR at slow speed. The guy skated into the zone backwards with the puck and was definetly offsides.

2nd period was just pathetic effort. They should have plently of energy for the 3rd period. They didn't use any in the 2nd. Ryan saved them.

They didn't deserve the point they got, but I'll take it.

That was a horrible game and we still got a point on ott and car. I hope that was something we needed to get out of our system because FlA is coming on saturday.

Blech.

I don't want to sound like an ingrate, because we have been blessed with a great season from the Sabres, but tonight was pure crap at times. That entire 2nd period was as horrible as I've seen. From Pominville's "oops" on the PP, to the lax play of the entire team, just pure laziness. They came back in the 3rd and gave it their all (I was as excited as I have been during the scoring sequence off of the faceoff in 6-on-5), only to be let down by their piss poor play again in the OT. Kovalev could've done a few triple lutzes prior to taking that shot, he was so wide open. Miller was left to dry far too often tonight.

On the flip side, tonight's game showed again that the only ones that seem to be capable of beating Buffalo this year are the Senators, and the Sabres themselves.

Next up, the team that gives Buffalo fits---The Florida Panthers. :poop:

Even the goal that Pominville gave up could have been prevented if the forwards would have skated back instead of lolly gagging

We got a point tonight even though we didnt play our best. That should prove that we are an elite team at this point. Because thats what the good teams do.
