Al Davis has proven that it's a two year job. Wisenhunt, Petrino, etc. have better situations, more options, and stronger longevity in their current jobs.

As a long ago Syracuse University student , I can honestly say that I'm not real proud that Al Davis is a 'Cuse guy, too.Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

John Clayton today said that whatever draft scouting the Raiders do, it isn't much. Basically none at all. Al Davis obviously has a big say it that.
