Re: Slim pickings in FA?
I would love to see Bentley and OT Jeff Backus come in free agency. With Preston ready to start at LG, we ought to be able to find 2 more capable linemen amongst Villarial, Peters, Gandy, Anderson and perhaps a 2nd or 3rd round choice.Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

it doesn't matter what's available in FA. The Bills have no cap space.

IF...we don't tag him or IF we tag and trade and IF we cut some guys....will we have enough room.
And again this year I say...We need to keep a set amount aside for the Draft.

Re: Slim pickings in FA?
There are going to be PLENTY of guys cut and plenty of cap room created..
First and foremost, if Levy is serious about this team getting better, he'll do something TD never did: conclude our O Line blows and get rid of them. Bennie Anderson, Gandy and Mike Williams' departures will save over $7 million right there.
Moulds, who very possibly will get cut, is $4+ million right there.
Posey.. Campbell.. Possibly Adams..
Buffalo will have cap space to do some things.
