They never brought him on. They JUST reported that he couldn't make it and will be on the show next week. Sorry for what now seems like a false report from me, guys. :(

Was it the usual "well, how does it feel to have missed the probowl? garbage?, or was it gonna be them trying to get his opinion on the new staff? and his opinion of the job that Levy has done so far...?

Don't know. He was supposed to be on sometime in the final hour of The Hot List, but when the Quin Snyder story broke out, they started talking about that a lot, and right as the show was leaving to go to Around The Horn, the guy said, "Takeo Spikes, Bills linebacker, could not make it onto the show, we will have him back next week." So, for the neg I received calling me a "damn loser." Go send some hate mail to ESPN.
