I already have stated that NLTBE's earned become LTBE immediately. I also have highlighted how there is no June 1st rule in 2006...here are some more tidbits...

Make sure you tell Bills when you find out. I do not think they know yet.

There is also worry over the 30% rule :ontome:
"30% rule" applies to how much salaries can be increased each year....I'll have more on this later

Hey Clump, first time, long-time! (jk)
Does this also mean if the league goes uncapped next year, that not just rook minimums are affected, but vet mins too? And that it's possible to then go out and get a former star in FA who still wants to play for next to nothing?
I mean, someone might not pay a Jerry Rice starter money for his limited role last year, but he's doing ballroom dancing now. I bet he'd take 200-300K to play somewhere next year in that case, just to play again. That would be a bargain for a few teams looking for a situational possession vet WR, no?
And on the flip side, do you think an uncapped year hurts the league long-term? I say that because what's to keep Jerry Jones or Danny Boy in DC from stocking up the pantry and paying top $$$$ on a talent shopping spree. Then, if things get worked out the year after, teams are possibly left with huge contracts that they have to carry now, and back they go into cap hell again, (similiar to Dallas having Aikman, Irvin and Smith at once).

I believe it is true.....teams can sign a player for less than the previous minimums if the player is willing to sign the deal

Let's get the CBA done right this time and they probably won't have this problem again.
