Elway stated that he wouldnt bring TO into Denver because he knows how to ruin a team. Also stated that the Broncos have a great locker room now and alot of good leaders and to bing someone in whos only worried about himself and not what the team is worried about is too much risk and he wouldnt do it. Elways the latest in former Broncos to speak out against TO coming to Denver. Terrell Davis and Shannon Sharpe are the others to voice anti-TO sentiments.

I wonder if those in charge really care what former players think. I mean seriously.....Does Shanahan say "Well, TO could push us over the edge and into the Superbowl but John Elway doesn't think we should sign him so forget it".

but I'm sure it doesn't help TO's case.

I think it depends on the player...Elway's words likely carry a lot more weight than someone like say, Bryan Cox

Bowlen listens to Elway so does Shanahan and for good reason. TDavis has always been a class act and feels the same way about TO.

It wouldn't break my heart if the punk never played again.

The listen in the sense of the public relations side to it.. john elway speaks for the fans basically.

basically.. they know going in.. ok.. we have to be positive that TO gets us a superbowl.. because if he doesnt.. we will get eaten up.

philly danced with the devil and almost got themselves the ring..

now they are paying the piper.

Regardless of whether it affects team decisions or not, I just liked that Elway said it publicly.

Speaking of Cox, if TO came to Buffalo with another team, we'd need to call Carwell Gardner to meet him in the parking lot after the game and kick his a$$ in the bus.

The price for Buffalo to get TO is getting cheaper and cheaper.

I hope more teams say they don't want him. Maybe we can get him for like 2 million a year.

TO will never get anyone a SB. He brings desention and dis harmony which is what Elway was trying to say.

T.O. would be great on a cellar dweller team like the Jets, Texans, or Cardinals.

No need to - he became Jets assistant OL coach so you can say it every Jets game!

Actually I think it might be Plummer who throws T.O. into the wood chipper. Or chops him up with an axe. Either way, effectively ruining the Bronco's season.

Well he doesn't play anymore so what he thinks is really irrelevent.

Well he doesn't play anymore so what he thinks is really irrelevent. Not necessarily true Elway is a pretty big icon in Denver and Im pretty sure the orginazation would hear him out on certain things.
