sabres trade rumors?

does anyone know about any trade rumors for the sabres i have heard a few but none recently personaly i would like to see Todd Bertuzzi come here and i would also like to see a player like simon gange or alex mogilny type player come here also that won't ruin team chemistry.

i really think we are set up front maybe like a nice roll player like a marc savard and a good defensemen would be nice to aquire

It should would have been nice to be fully healthy for a good month so the coaches/management had a better idea where we are at with the squad we have.

At this point I don't see us making any trades outside of something that has a long-term focus. We have a lot of value on the team to trade...and considering the changes in the league the off-season is going to be very heavy with available players. The other thing is how do you dare part with a guy like Pomminville or Roy at this point of the season? Those guys are kids and they have been playing their hearts out...they have good value no doubt but heck they sure have showed up to kick some tail every night.

that's what a lot of people say...not sure I'm convinced we can't be better though...that if it ain't broke attitude just about always results in something breaking at the worst time.

The teams ahead of the Sabres will likely make moves. If possible, they should too to not let the Carolina's and Ottawa's create a gap.

The problem is that the Sabres are going to have too many players and some good people are going to sit because they won't be able to slip them past waivers to get the to Rochester. We should package a few of them to get a "chemistry-friendly" superstar.

We may or not make a move. We have good chemistry on this team right now,so I dont know if Id make a too drastic move. Tough call really...

I highly doubt we could obtain bertuzzi. Why would Philly trade Gagne? Mogilny is over the hill and bothered by injuries....

Not really. The rosters expand after the deadline. Hecht and Connelly will most likely be out until then so we really shouldn't have any roster spot problems.. I am ok with going out and upgrading the team if possible though.
