based on reputation.. Top Five.

Based on his play over 2005.. Top 15, IF he's lucky.

Kinda hard to stay on a WR for five seconds or more because of the lack of pass rush.

He is a top five CB hands down.

Id still take Champ Bailey, Rhonde Barber or Hall from the Falcons before Clements.. Very good corner but not top 5..

Carlton Bailey

Law, Bailey, McAllister, Barber, Hall, and Lucas are all better. A case can be made for Bly, Vasher, and Surtain. Thus, Clements ranges from 7-10. Not bad. I think he's worth the 5.89 mill.

He is a top 5 corner with a serious attitude problem. Attitude is not always a bad thing. Just in certain players. Jim Kelly had a ridicules attitude. Lets all face it now, Jim was a very ME ME ME type of guy. But he also backed up his talk for a better part of his career. Clements is a great corner but I think his attitude could cause problems in the locker room so I say he is top 10 when you put his talents and attitude together.

I voted 6-10 very good, could have been higher if it weren't for last year!!

Nate is a very good corner. He's had 1 bad season. Not that stats tell the whole story, but if you look at his career vs the other top guys, he's better than most. I think Ty Law is the only one who has outplayed Nate on all levels since he came into the league. Up until this past season, I was complaining that he was underrated.

I said very good as well. I would tend to put him on the lower half of the 6-10/upper half of 11-15. He was exposed somewhat last year, but make no mistake about it, he is quality through and through.

He was "somewhat exposed" last year? What games were you watching? You can make a case he was the WORSE player in the entire secondary.

I'd take Jerry Azumah at half the price and buy myself a new starting guard with the remains.

One question. If Clements is tagged... is it possible to trade him for another franchised player?

I mean, is it possible to trade him for LeCharles Bentley?

IMO it would be possitive for both franchises. Saints would get "something" for Bentley and Bills would start the re-building (and also directly purge some Donahoe's messes) from the middle of the OL...

It would be a key-move for us because Teague replacement, Clements cap issues and the instability of the OL are simply insane...

He is talented but a selfish player. I agree with what PM2006 said. I would take a Jerry Azumah type player over Clements. Solid but inexpensive and always does whats best for the team, not himself.

Either way he is the best CB in the AFC East.

i'd say 6-10 he covers well and is a good run stopper but they're definetly people better
