He was listed as the starter as well when JP was starting while holcomb was out.
It means nothing

Holcomb will not start another game for this team unless JP gets hurt. He knows his place is warming the QB's part of the bench.

SMOKE-EM HOLCOMB is not a starting QB in the NFL, never has been and never will be. An adequate backup, yes.....and maybe able to steal a few games as a spot starter, but when teams have the opportunity to game plan for him, they find his weaknesses which are 1) mediocre pocket presence, 2) tendancy to skip through progressions to get to his "favorite" receivers 3)misjudging safety positions on deep routes. 4) poor play action motion.

Huh? The kid has an outstanding work ethic. This has even been recognised by Dick Jauron. A 'fire' isn't his issue. Lack of support has been the biggest issue.

Others... FA's, such as Sam Aiken, are still listed in the chart as well.

Last year, Drew Bledsoe was listed as the Bills starter through the 1st mini camp or more...
