Let's get one of these rolling - we can do another one closer to the draft.

Just like last year, we will present the teams in draft order- you tell us who you think they will take.

We will keep each one open for approximately 24-36 hours.

First on the clock- The Houston Texans

I'll be the first to buck the Mock draft trend- they have been dying for a franchise left tackle since going after Tony Boselli in the expansion draft. Health kept him from ever playing for the Texans- and their OL has been suffering from the start.

Carr could still develop if he wasn't sacked 206 times already in his young career.

Reggie Bush is an outsyanding talent- but a luxury item they can ill afford. They already have decent weapons on offense in Dominic Davis and Andre Johnson- they just need protection.

I'm going with a suprise choice- but filling an obvious need- D'Brickshaw Ferguson- LT , Virginia . They may trade down - possibly with the Jets if they dump Pennington and target Leinert to get this pick. Brick will be a Texan cornerstone for years.

While they certainly should draft Brick, would you want to be the GM who passed up on "the next Barry Sanders?".

The Texans take the biggest game-changing running back to enter the draft in years.

I'd do it in a damn heartbeat because I know two things. 1) football and what it takes to have a good WINNING team and 2) Sanders never sniffed a superbowl for all of his talents. the TEAM he was on, just wasn't good enough.

You take DF if the Texans are smart

Texans arent smart and they take Bush, best pick is Dabrick, but they go for Bush

Hell I will give this a crack. The New Orleans saints take , Jay Cutler.

Yeah I know Lionfart is there, but he is more a product of the TEAM than Cutler. Cuttler to me is more talented and had to do more with less.

you gotta wait till we get to that pick, we are still on Houston

Im a say the Texans shock everyone and go with Vince Young based solely on his performance in the championship game.

Reggie Bush - plain and simple.

it's Bush.. Do you want to be the GM who passed on him if he went to New Orleans or the Titans and became the next Barry Sanders?

Personally, I agree with Doz.. IF I was Houston I'd take Brick. In fact, I'd go one further. I'd draft NOTHING but OL first three picks. In 2-3 years they'd have a line on par with Seattle. Then my grandmother could run for 1400 yards.

But, public pressure and the ability to sell tickets lead Houston to Bush, that's the pick there.

If Texans are a smart organization, they have nothing to lose if they decide to trade down and I can see them destroying Saints plans with the Jets drafting Matt Leinart 1st overall and getting the same Bush at 4th + an extra 2nd and 3rd round pick this year.

Reggie Bush.

Why don't we set something up where we each get assigned a team and have a mock draft that way? Just a suggestion.

We have tried that in the past with mixed results

People pick teams then never show, people with teams complain it moves to slowly, if we move on and pick for an absentee guy- they always show up later complaining we moved on without them.

If we had some people volunteer to run it - take charge- then I'm all for it.

In today's NFL you need to draft players who can contribute rigth now. Reggie Bush.

Well this is the hardest one...................

Reggie Bush

They really should trade the pick and get Brick and they would fill a huge hole. I think DOM DAVIS is a great back......Bush will still be the pick..

I really dont like all the Barry comparisons. Its hard to compare a guy who hasnt played a snap to a guy who is the best RB of all time.

The Texans should make every effort to trade down. Barring that, it doesn't make sense for them to take Bush. Domanick Davis was given a new contract of $21 million recently and has been a > 1000 yards RB the last couple of seasons with a crappy Oline. They also renewed Carr's contract which means they will not be drafting a QB - they are committed to him. They may have done stupid things in the past, but they have good new coaches that will hopefully offer good input to the scouts and GM and will more than likely do the right thing in drafting Brick to be their LT for years to come.

Sounds like they need a TE with this pick! LOL, but seriously there biggest need here is O-line!

The Texans I think will trade down, but if we ae taking straight up picks I would take Ferguson. They have committed to Carr, Davis has done well and they have a decent back up at RB in Wells.

I like the "draft and trade" idea.....but then I am thinking....if you have Davis and Bush.....who are you going to trade? I trade Davis and maybe get a 3rd or 4th rounder for him.
Davis is a good back, but Bush has the potential to be great.

By taking bush they will show why they are the only other team outside of Buffalo in the AFC to not make the playoffs in the last 5-6 years.

bush is the pick but they need to trade down and get OL help.
