Report: Dolphins' Williams fails drug test

Dolphins running back Ricky Williams faces at least a one-year suspension from the NFL after testing positive for drug use a fourth time under the league's substance abuse policy.

Two sources confirmed a report by WSVN-TV that Williams had failed the test, although neither would say the substance Williams used. On three previous occasions, Williams had tested positive for using marijuana.

Yeah, this shouldn't surprise anyone at this stage. As I said on another board, he was never really out of my personal doghouse and said as much here throughout the season. It sucks because. had we known this, perhaps we could have traded him away ahead of time for whatever.

I am just glad that Saban had the foresight to draft Ronnie even though it was pretyt much a sure thing that Ricky was ocming back last year. Ronnie will have his time to shine and show everyone he can carry the load. This probably also means that Sammy Morris will have a bigger role which pleases me too.

So long Ricky, I hope you find happiness in India/Oakland/Texas/wherever. Please make sure to clear out EVERYTHING from the lockerroom this time around as anything left behind will be thrown out...unless it is money.
