    J. Lewis could won't be tagged.

OWINGS MILLS, Md. (AP) - The Baltimore Ravens have decided not to protect Jamal Lewis from free agency, but have not ruled out the possibility of signing the one-time 2,000-yard rusher to a long-term contract.

Lewis, the NFL Offensive Player of the Year in 2003, when he rushed for 2,066 yards, slumped to a career-low 906 yards this season following a four-month sentence in a Florida federal prison and two months in a halfway house for a cocaine conspiracy plea bargain. He also underwent surgery on his right ankle.

So where could he end up? I wouldn't be surprised to either cleveland or arizona take a shot at him both teams need a RB.

Any other possibilities and don't say buffalo unless you have a really really good explanation.

Everyone is ignoring Carolina. Deshawn Foster is NOT a Full time starting RB in this league. They want a impact, full time back. Word has it if Seattle doesn't franchise Alexander, he is going to Carolina. The Panthers are a team that is about 3 players from being back in the superbowl.

Yeah, I know. Problem in Tenn. is that Chris Brown is injury porne and Henry has had too many problems on and off the field. If they can fit it under their cap, they'll go after a RB at some point this off season.

I really wouldn't be surprised about this move but i think cleveland is going to push for lewis.

Cleveland needs a stud back. But thier history with backs has been well less then sub par. Anthor possiblity could be Indy they need a RB since james will going.

Cleveland was my first thought as well, but they should also have a shot at either Lendale White or DeAngelo Williams in the draft.

Why not? He would fit right in with the rest of the dope smuggling, pot toking, wife beaters.

Whatever! You guys need to grow up. We don't need a freakin' RB, that's why. Sorry I forget that all Bills players are angels and have never done anything wrong

                          LOL

Sorry man. I actually didn't even realize you were a Dolphins fan until after I posted. I really wasn't trying to attack you and your team. I thought you were a Bills fan trying to make a strange point.

So, seriously, why do you think that the Dolphins wouldn't grab another RB when Ricky is on his way out?

I know Brown seems to be the real deal, but veteran depth at that position isn't necessarily unheard of.

I hope they just let Ronnie run and maybe move Kay Jay Harris in as his back-up. That would make the most sense to me. No use over-paying for a vet or using a draft pick on a RB when there are more pressing needs
