#Subject to coin flip

Since the next two need to be decided by a coin flip- I chose to put BOTH teams on the clock

Both of these teams are in need of strong linebackers.

San Fran- AJ Hawk
Oakland- Chad Greenway

Oakland really needs help in the LB position and the best LB in the draft is AJ HAWK....So the Raiders select AJ HAWK.................

San Fran needs many players to help this team. The definitely need interior Line help on Defense so they will draft Haioli Ngata DT from Oregon....

After losing their best LB to FA (Peterson) SF needs a hell of an LB. Hawk would be a great pick.

Call me nuts but I think that the Raiders should go for Vernon Davis. They already have so much talent on Offense, just imagine what a huge play maker like that could do for them?

What isnt a need for SF? DB/DL/LB....you name it. Running a 3-4 I could see them going either way (DL/LB).

San-Francisco (if at 6) AJ Hawk
San Francisco (if at 7) Greenway

Oakland is 30+ mil over the cap and will need to make some sacrifices. I think they go Hawk at 6 and DB at 7. The Loss of Woodson will create a hole that needs to be filled.

Oakland (if at 6) AJ Hawk, LB
Oakland (if at 7) M. Huff, CB/S

Totally and absolutely agree.

With Danny Clark and Kirk Morrison, Oakland needs a LB a lot less than they need a safety. IMHO Oakland goes with Michael Huff.

SF really needs a LB who can make plays with J.Peterson likely to go elsewhere now. Of course, with A.Plummer gone, they also have no DBs and really need a CB in the worst way. IMHO, with Huff off of the board, San Francisco goes with AJ Hawk.

If, as expected, Oakland lets T.Washington go, with W.Sapp aging, it would not be surprising to see Oakland seriously consider taking H.Ngata with this pick. Clark and Morrison have shown that they can make the plays if the D-line keeps the offensive linemen off of them--which they didn't do as the season progressed and the old guys, like Sapp and Washington, wore down. Ngata would fill this need, but Oakland may figure that they can afford to wait and get a young DT at the top of Round 2 instead. As bad as their run defense was, the middle of their pass defense was worse. Huff would give them a play-making safety who can cover--which is what they lacked--or step in front of Stanford Routt at CB if Routt continues to struggle in coverage the way that he did last season. With Woodson gone, the Raiders can't afford to ignore the problem that they had at safety last season, which is a bigger priority than adding a LB to go with Clark and Morrison or a DT when they can get one later on, so I think they pass on Ngata and take Huff.

SF is so desperate for CBs that, while they may be able to get one in FA, it would not be surprising to see them go with Jimmy Williams over Hawk if Huff is gone---IF (and this is a huge IF) Williams shows that he can adapt to play more man-coverage if called on. But, I still think that they can't pass on Hawk if he is there for them.

I wonder if a lot of those who have been down on NGata as a Bills pick are projecting him to Oakland - just so he's not there when Buffalo picks.
