Why doesn't Lydman play like that

Lydman has been one of our best defenseman all year. He's had a couple bad games and Sabre fans throw him under the bus.

When I was watching the game today, I heard them say, "Great defensive play by Lydman!" and I'm like, "Huh?"

He's a good contributor on offense for us but has too many defensive gaffes.

I don't know what you guys have been watching, other than those last couple games before the break...Lydman and Tallinder have been our best defenseman IMO...McKee has been great aswell.

Sounds more like Afinogenov. He needs to be more consistent, and learn to know where the net is without looking where ever you are on the nice. I can recall 3 diff times he missed almost completely empty nets... Afinogenov is great when he has room to work, he has great stick handling ability, but he trys doing TOO much and tends to give up the puck every game.
