All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
This should be no surprise, and it seems like a logical fit. They need a WR and Moulds likely wants out to play for a contender. The worst part is that it sounds like Philly's intention would be to try to sign a cut EMo not a trade for him.
1) A deal is worked out and MOulds stays in buffalo (and sorry that's not going to happen)
or
2) He doesnt take a cut/restructure and is CUT.. Its that plain and simple.. No trades, no packaging him in a trade.. He either gets cut or he's a Bill.. EVery team in the NFL thats interested in him knows this
And for the record, your counting out another team.. Once MOulds gets cut, and after Levy's comments and his "inability" to even reach Moulds its a formality..Dont be shocked to see h im a CHARGER next season.
Any team that trades for Moulds would only have a 2006 cap hit of $7.189 million ($6.089 million salary, $1 million reporting bonus, and $100,000 workout bonus)
There isn't anyway a team will trade for Moulds with his salary. As Clump stated, his cap hit would still be $7.189 million dollars in a trade. No team is gonna pay that for him.
Get real people. Moulds isn't a superstar anymore. Quit holding on to the past.
No way will Moulds be traded. As Moran said, he either stays--not likely-- or he's cut.
Exactly. There will be no trade, not because the Bills wouldn't like something for him, but whoever signs EM would want a better contract deal for themselves than what they'd get by taking on EM's current deal.
Besides, no one would ever trade for a 32 year year old "slowing" receiver who days away from being cut.

I disagree. Lets say we can talk to Tennessee or the Saints. You swap places and throw Moulds in as well. Most teams would go for it. I know if the roles were reversed fans here would be screaming to get it done.

That's crazy. Go back and do some research of past drafts. It takes a lot more than your #1 and a has been WR to move up into the top 5.........even from the 8th pick

How do you figure? Someone posted a value chart that most teams use. Moulds, our #8 and a willingness to move down a few spots can work. They want one of our 3rds as well? Fine they can have it.
Do what has to be done to get D'Brick. He is worth it.
The #3 pick is worth 2200 points. The #8 1400. So we are looking at 800 points or Eric Moulds.
Or we can go #8, a 3rd and next years 2nd and that covers it as well. At some point you guys must get it through your heads that a 10+ Probowl caliber LT is worth the draft picks/ Players etc.
