All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!

Do you think it would be worth...

to give our Olympic guys the Atlanta game off. It would probably do us a world of good in the long run and plus Atlanta isn't that tough. Our defense would hurt the most.

No.

Lydman and Numminen are the only ones that definitely could use that game off because they have the least time to recover. Unfortunately, they are two of our best defenseman and we need them.

There is no way they could do that, just from a technical point of view. The Sabres have 5 olympians. They couldn't scratch all 5, and call up replacements from Rochester without having to waive somebody. Also, by resting the Olympians, the Sabres would only have 5 defenseman left if they rested Lydman and Numminen.

Its not a bad idea we will play 3 games in 4 nights next week. I dont think it will happen though. Also we dont have enough D-Men to take Lydman & Teppos place in the lineup.

Just having to think about doing what SabreEleven is suggesting is proof that the schedule makers are idiots.

What, are you supposed to play terrible in the Olympics, to ensure you come home soon enough to rest up for your next NHL game?

Teppo & Toni will hopefully be rested up enough to get ready for the game against Waddel's underachievers.

I think they should... these guys are gonna need to be completely rested come playoff time if this team plans on making a legit run.

That's why keeping Biron/Miller on the same roster isn't such a bad thing, at least for this season. 2 healthy, top goalies isn't a bad thing come playoff time.

Our D looked flat tonight. All around suckage.

Time to make a trade now before its too late.

For Noronen & Grier, we might be lucky to get someone from the ECHL!

Biron has to go, if this team is to get anything worth a damn. However, it may be too late for his market value, since he hasn't played in 6 weeks.
