Buffalo Bills WR Eric Moulds has turned down the club's offer Monday to restructure his hefty contract, a decision that could force the team’s hand to release its veteran receiver by as early as this week.

Buffalo BillsWR Eric Moulds has turned down the club's offer Monday to restructure his hefty contract, a decision that could force the team’s hand to release its veteran receiver by as early as this week.
Unless a new deal can be reached, the Bills would have little choice but to cut Moulds, which would save the team about $5.5 million in cap room. Moulds, a 10-year veteran and the team's senior player, has two years left on his contract, scheduled to count $10.85 million against the salary cap for the 2006 season.

I will say again just because....I heard earlier tonight that they don't want him back. His attitude sucks among other issues.

He's not cut yet, theres no hurry as of now they can still work something out.

I hope he tears it up too....his ACL that is. Woman beating, spitting punk, team mate back stabbing *****. Only Bills fans can root for a punk like that and make him out to be a saint.

Funny fans here rip TO for doing much less. He mouths off, but doesn't have two instances of spitting on players, two domestic abuse charges etc.

I don't think he wants to be here anymore.

I said this months ago but certain people said I was crazy. I also said he wouldn't take the type of cut that he should be taking, primarily for pride reasons.

Bottom line - he has about 2 more years left and he knows the only way to get to the dance before he retires is with another team. All that "loyalty" stuff goes out the window when a player is facing that reality.

The interesting thing is going to be seeing which team picks him up and for how much.

Anyway, this is good news imo. Saving $5.5 off the cap and moving forward into a new era. It's all good.

for a Long time Moulds has been my favorite player, but he wants out and just wants the money now so I say F the bastard, but it is a sad day when we lose him
