You don't necessarily need speed at Safety or corner in a cover 2 (though it doesn't hurt). Being physical is more important, and we can get a 3rd or maybe even 4th rounder who is plenty physical.

Oh my god...I just realized that we could be thinking of keeping Coy Wire this year since he's physical...Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!! :D:

I like Huff as an alternative to Ngata, and assuming Brick will be long gone.

what makes you say that? He's got the tools and a year under two safeties that know all the tricks. I think he would be a great pick.

He is not now, nor ever will be a Roy Williams. Roy Williams completely re defined the safety position in College football. Huff is a tweener.

That said, Just say NO to any TexASS player....

The article speaks for it's self. The FACTS are there.

First of all Roy Williams is an awful cover safety who cost the cowboys a few games last year most memorably the redskins game where moss burned him twice. All he can do is hit so don't pump him up to be anything more than a big hitter.

I think both Huff and Griffin would be excellent additions to the Cover 2 scheme we are going to play either at CB or S. I also like Jason Allen, looks like he will be a player too.

What do lotto numbers have to do with looking at an evaluating talent? Nothing.

Is Huff a good pick at number 8 though? Just asking. We could trade down and still pick this guy up right? Get some more picks and still end up with a very talented player in round 1?

ICE. Gotta love him. I like how he labels himself a "realist" yet comes out with some of the most highly opinionated, notoriously ignorant, down right stupid ass comments I have seen.

Now ICE, don't be mad. I'm just keeping it real.

I can actually see the Raiders picking up Huff. They are losing Woodson, they have no one at Safety and their D-line is not too bad. Derrick Burgess led the league in sacks and they have Sapp and Washington in the middle although they are getting old they can be replaced in FA or next season. Al Davis loves speed and Huff fits what the Raiders do defensively. And if that does happen that means either Hawk or Mario Williams may slide to us.

Been saying it for weeks now Micheal Huff is are best option at 8. He can hit play the ball, play the run, he can do it all. He was also maybe the most verbal leader of the UT championship team. We get him in rd 1 and Griffin in rd 3, and I would be extremely pleased!

That would be a riduculous secondary. Clements, McGee, Huff, and Griffin. WOW. Assuming we handle the O-line and D-line with the rest of the draft and FA, I would be extremely pleased as well.
