Marv is buying more time to talk to Moulds, don't be surprised if he comes back. These moves weren't made only with Moulds in mind. I'm going to talk to Moulds' agent tomorrow and post the interview.
Just when I thought you couldn't possibly do anything dumber, you go and do something like this.... AND TOTALLY REDEEM YOURSELF!

This isn't to buy more time. Overdorf is in charge of the negotiations. Marv and Jim are going to give moulds one last chance to take a pay CUT or he will be cut.

Hope Moulds comes back! I'm going to say a prayer for him tonight.

If the CBA falls through, Moulds might not have a team to play for in 07 with those financial standards.

As long as Marv has Moulds on contract and room he has leverage; he could take away all of the easy money to Moulds resulting in a situation like Ruben Brown who thought he could get more but came back anyways.

When is that roster bonus due anyways?

If Moulds gets cut, I'll have to go out and buy a new jersey. I'm thinking Evans will probably be here for a good while - he's gonna be our own Steve Smith.

Marv Levy is a classy leader and he is just facing Donahoe's mess as polite as possible:

"Meet success like a gentleman and disaster like a man"
                  - Frederick Edwin Smith

"Defeat is simply a signal to press onward"
                  - Helen Keller

"What we call failure is not the falling down, but the staying down"

                  - Mary Pickford

Smoke and mirrors is all it is.

Moulds wants to LEAVE plain and simple.

Thanks log! Nice press conference! I also like to hear that we are bringing the class back to our organization....

Dick Jauron has talked to all 3 veterans and personally told them that we would be putting them on waivers. Good move. Much better than the Donahoe way or just cutting them and having them find out via the TV or radio.

                          Class move.

I think Moulds is gone unless there's a deal done with the NFLPA tonight.

Lots of other big names are cut already.

                          Interesting.
