As usual dead on. The Geek clayton has us at about 9.1 on a 92 mill cap. My only question is they have milloy at 3.5 mill savings and you have him at 3.75 or so.

I am 90% sure its going to be 95 million, maybe even a tad higher.. Moulds WILL get cut (he is NOT taking a paycut) and we should be around 20 million under, with around 15 to spend on Free Agents (at least I think)

It would be an advantage to the Bills if no CBA is signed. Because assuming one is signed, then many teams will be able to either retain their FA's or offer FA's that we want more money. At this point with an estimated cap of 95-96 Mil, and Moulds about to be cut, the Bills are looking at cap space in the mid to high teens, which is pretty good.

With a new head coach and new GM, I think having less veterans and more cap space is advantageous.

Good thing we can always rely on Clump to keep us up to date!

Make that 12,771,908

NFL | Cap set at $94.5 million
Wed, 1 Mar 2006 19:06:59 -0800

The Associated Press reports the NFL has set the salary cap for the 2006 season at $94.5 million. League owners will meet in New York on Thursday, March 2, in an attempt to work out a new collective bargaining agreement. A new CBA could add anywhere from $10 million to $15 million to the salary cap. Teams also have an additional six hours to terminate contracts and request waivers on players. The original deadline was set for 4 p.m. EST on Thursday, March 2, but has now been pushed back to 10 p.m.

Cut moulds and we are at about 18 mill in cap room. Hell that puts us in the upper range of the teams in best cap shape with the Vikes at 24 mill.

Cut moulds damn it!

We'll be competing with the Vikings for Bentley....so that extra cap space will be needed.

The "unadjusted" salary cap is actually $94,513,000, so I will amend and say that I have the Bills $12,784,908 under

We are still waiting for the Bills cap adjustment which will change $94,513,000 to something higher or lower....I do not know whether they have a debit or credit....I'll lean towards debit

I don't get it. Clayton has Buffalo at only $2 Million under the CAP prior to today's cuts.

Clayton (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2349505&lpos=spotlight&lid=tab1pos2)

Why the big discrepency?

1) He was using $92 million not $94,513,000 like I am

2) That number was before today's cuts

3) my numbers have been based on $93.5 million

$4 million or so of that goes to draft picks remember. The Bills would be wise to save a little something for a rainy day, or at least for future signings of their own players.
