After making cuts of veterans Wednesday (which saved $7.3 million) and then tendering offers to their young free agents (which added about $1.8 million above what already was being counted), the Bills were about $9.2 million under the cap, according to News estimates
Bills are ~$9.2 under the cap under current deal

Re: Bills are ~$9.2 under the cap under current deal
So the Bills say no to a restructured contract and Moulds guys say no to a paycut. First off You don't restructure moulds any further. We already have too much bonus over time tied up in him. He won't garner more than 2.5-4 mill per year tops from another team. Apperantly Buffalo has offered nearly the same since his agent says they are 'millions' apart.
Bottom line, he doesn't want to be in Buffalo, So cut him. There is no way in hell you keep Moulds at his current contract even with an extra 20 mill to spare. He just isn't worth that kind of money. And if you keep a player that doesn't want to be here you get a guy playing for a paycheck and nothing more. That HURTS the team.

Obviously, Moulds thinks he can earn more elsewhere. We have much more glaring needs than WR's right now, both lines need alot of love. Take the cap saving & let's load the lines up with meat, speed and talent and let nature take it's course.

Originally posted by EDSHow much do the Bills have to set aside to sign rookies? Isn't it something close to $4 million? If so that still only leaves the Bills with 5-6 million, which is not a lot considering the number of holes the team needs to fill.
