With all the talk about cuts, where's this guy's name? Isn't he making well over a mill for a friggin kicker? And an average kicker at that

Give RL some credit he did improve last season at least

I stayed away from him my fantasy league but then picked him up he was an offensive machine for us last season.

As much as I've bashed Lindell in the past, I think cutting him would be a mistake. He's finally getting used to the winds and the conditions at the Ralph. Besides, if you wanted to bring in a guy like Vinitari, it would probably cost 4 times as much.

He could go 24 for 25 on the season, but the one miss would be in overtime to give us a lead with 3 seconds left. I just think he's not a kicker that can be relaible when it comes to big kicks. He can make 45 yarders in the 2nd quarter all day long, but when the pressure's on, I just feel like he folds.

When you do not have an offense which can score you need a kicker who can handle the winds. Sometimes you can get lucky with a rookie but mostly you need veteran kickers and veteran kickers to not usually get veteran minimum.

I'm still thinking Steve Christie days, I guess.

It's time to let steve go as painfull as it may be cas time to move on and just enjoy the memories that steve gave us here in buffalo.

No, I don't want him back ... I just meant, having a clutch kicker around. Look what it's done for the Pats.

Its easy to blame a kicker for not making a crucial kick near the end of a game, but the bottom line is the rest of the team has to score points and do their jobs so it doenst have to come down to a kick. RL was the only consistant player on offense last year (sad to say)

Not true. Some were consistantly bad.

Rian Lindell did an excellent job for us this past season. We have enough holes to fill already, so why cut a guy who was in reality our offensive MVP last year.

Maybe Peters could kick too.

We would be crazy to cut him right now. He turned it up last season.

Statistically he wasn't a poor kicker two years ago, he just missed a couple of important kicks. Last year he was excellent, you don't make that switch.

FOR WHAT reason should the BILLS cut him he was one of the bright spots last year....

Marvelous

casdhf, Lindell was awesome last year and made a major turnaround.. His only weakness is kickoffs. We never get touchbacks. This position is one of the few on this team that i'm content with....... If only Lindell could get us touchbacks..

Agreed, not to mention there are far too many more pressing needs on this team.
