Since he wants to be a little ***** and quit on his team last year I would screw him over.
Wait until after the draft and FA when all the money has been used up and there isn't much to go around and everyone already has their team set.
Release him right before training camp when he's do a workout bonus and all that. There won't be much money left and he'll only get about 2 million dollars and will have to settle for whatever team is willing to sign him.
Or better yet wait until the season is ready to start and trade him to some really crappy team for anything. Whether it's a 6th or 7th rounder and make him play somewhere like San Fran.
