    This is all pure crap and it is beyond old.

    So lets wait another 72 hours because they feel it will produce a CBA. You mean like the last time you pushed it back 72 hours then broke of talks completely this after noon?

    Let me guess, this 72 hours will stall, we will get right up to the start of FA and push it back till next monday right? Then the thursday after that, then the monday after that. Then before you know it FA is still not going on by the 3rd weekend in April. so that means hey, with no CBA and no FA, lets put off the draft.

    This is pure and absolute crap. Both sides are weak as hell. If either had any sac at all FA would have started by now.

        Take your time guys- still 7 weeks until the draft. It's not like we are losing games on the schedule

            I would rather free agency start now making certain teams cut big players and them make a deal later, cause we have money where other teams don't and some really good players would be cut.

              I love that they are still talking and determined ot get this thing done. As far as I'm concerned they can postpone FA all the way till April if it means getting the right deal signed.

              Stop whining and appreciatre the positives of the situation, which will grewatly affect the game you love so much !!!

                    I'm really tired of the rich owners, the richer owners, the spoiled players, and all of their huge egos that won't allow a reasonable compromise.

                    In fact, I'm so sick and tired of their posturing and preening that I will probably not renew my tickets in 2007, which is about the only way I can demonstrate how obnoxious I find these negotiations to be.
                    Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

                              While you are sitting in the negotiatiing room, do you sit with the owners or the players?

                              And if they get a deal done are you going to admit that you have been a whining crying baby?

                              Like Dozer and ES said, what is the big deal? There is still plenty of time and nothing important is being missed.
