Someone is going to have to help me with this one. There are many teams that will be over cap when FA starts if there is no new agreement. My question is if these teams will be over cap with a 96 million cap why are they not over cap right now? Or is it projected with new contract terms comming into effect? How is a teams payroll going to jump over 25 mil in one year (as in the case of KC)?
Second, why is everyone in a hurry to reward teams that said screw the cap and decided to spend, spend, spend? I say stick with the agreement we have now and screw the teams who can't control their spending habits.
