Balance is the real key to the NFL . The NFL needs to keep a balance so all teams large/small market have a chance. One thing I recognized in baseball is that the yankees spend the most but have not fielded a world champion in years. With the yankees winning enough against other teams in their division they play the most, the other divisional teams will normally have less of a chance of making post-season play via all those losses.

The NFL problem is the teams don't play enough games (16 regular season that count) to balance out wins/losses every year. So a powerhouse mega money team in one division can really effect all the tie breakers-via conference and divisional wins/losses much more so.

Even a Mega team in one NFL divisional would create a terrible divisional/conference record for all others that have to play them. Many So-So teams make the post season every year already because of a much weaker division. They have a tendency to dominate and win a majority and force the other teams to go the wild-card route and normally the wild-card teams have a similiar record and tie-breakers come in and there where those teams will lose out.

Hopefully smarter heads will prevail this week and keep the success coming.

Mikey82 brought up a good point about the success of certains teams because of the losses of another. If NE wins alot of games it was partially because of the Bills. The Bills got hung with a loss and NE prospered so now more & more comes NE's way and they get amnesia. It's just not right, greedy bastard owners it is.
