Derek Roy's hatter against the Leafs was a nice surprise from a guy who is expected to have more than 10 goals at this point in the season. Once the goaltender deck is shuffled, this team will have few worries riding to the playoffs.</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

I will admit the sabres have been a pleasent surprise this year.

I don't get much sabre coverage out here and i was not expecting this great of a season. I thought they would be competitive and fighting for a playoffspot in the 6-8 slots.

This team is tough from what i have read and heard and yet they get little respect. I hope they get really hot in the playoffs and bring home the cup.
