    Salary cap Update 3/11

I now have the Bills $14,758,819 under an "adjusted" salary cap of $101,776,911 with $$8,622,892 "dead cap"

This has been edited to account for the in Nate Clements' franchise tender.....cap numbers will be fluid for a few days as new provisions of the CBA are applied

One is that minimum salaries have all been increased.....do not expect much of a cap impact from that...a few hundred thousand at most....

This number does not include Josh Stamer's new deal.....not sure if he signed 1 yr tender or longer term deal.

One thing no longer addressed on your page is whether the CBA extension returns significance to June 1 this year as far as accelerating SB cap charges for released players.

              Any clue?

I'm still surprised that Moorman doesn't have an escaltor.

but your Dead Cap column?? what of that? It says that Moulds will cost us $5.33333 mil of dead cap...is that before or after 6/1?? Is the provision for escalation back in place or removed?

I told you he had an option for 2009 triggered by making the Pro Bowl

you did not tell me that...

and I thought that year was already contract how else would we have amoratized his signing bonus through 2009? if he has a bonus or an escalator for 2009 that you may have told me...I don't remember that or how much it was for.

I realize that. The question is about whether there is now an "after June 1st" number or if it still all accelerates regardless of when cut.....
