Looks like you guys can forget him dropping to us. Not gonna happen.

SPEED....

Ohio State linebacker A.J. Hawk sped through his private workout in Columbus on Thursday and is now speeding up the draft chart. Hawk ran 4.38 and 4.46 at his Pro Day in the 40-yard dash. Hawk could be ticketed to San Francisco at No. 6.

Here's hoping Marrio Williams falls to us.

He's the only player we should consider trading up for IMO. He's going to be an instant impact player.

Amen to that!

I think marrio Williams registers 10 sacks his rookie year. This kid is amazing.

I wouldn't complain the least if he fell to us.

Marv knows the importance that Bruce played in our dominance back then and he wouldn't pass up a chance at a kid that is almost the second coming of him.

And the best part is we have a 10+ Sack guy on the right side. Add one on the left and our secondary gets much better real quick.

I still say no way he falls to us. The Jets are going to trade down and draft Cutler if D'brick is gone and then all bets are off.

They are going to have the #4 and #9 Picks after they trade Abraham to Detroit. They aren't going to trade down. They will take a QB at #4

The Jets are going to trade for Pat Ramsey today and most likely draft Brick and 4.

They could get Cutler at #9 and use the #4 for somebody else then.

Very possible too.

One thing to watch for as these 40 times get posted from college pro days.

I've heard Kiper and a few other people say the 40 is sometimes a 38 or a 39 and the timing is with a stopwatch and a quick thumb can make a huge difference.

It can only make Shoebel so much better. Can you say Hansen and Bruce all over again?

Ramsey cancelled all his other visits and is in NY today according to the local radio.

Agreed. The combine was with digital equipment.

If Brick is gone they will still trade down. Wouldn't be surprised to see them take Davis if they fill their QB spot with Ramsey.

Just watch, the Jets are going to throw a wrench in all the draft predictions.

Nah better. Hansen couldn't rush the passer like both of these guys can. It is a possible upgrade from that time.

cool, thanks for the info. That does possibly change the draft boards. I wonder now if they package #4 and #9 to Houston and take Bush?

This is a really tough draft to put together. It seems alot of teams could go multiple ways

Did the Jets trade for the #9 pick or is that just speculation?

I think one of the keys to a potential stud falling to us is the 3 QBs. If they go ahead of us there is the slight chance that a DBrick, Williams or Hawk falls. If one of them goes after us then no way we have a chance at any of those three.

Speculation of sending Abraham to the Lions.

Boy, if that's the case, then you'd think scouts would all invest in a 40 yard tape measure. Digital timing equipment might be a little pricey though.

The scouts know the deal and that is reflected in their assessments to the teams. It's the reporters (and the public like us) who get all gushy about these times.
