All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

Nate Clements Franchise Tag Salary Raised Because of New CBA
It's not clear exactly what Williams' tender would have been, but Nate Clements, who was franchised by the Bills, will have his tender increased by $1.3 million, to roughly $7.22 million, by the recalculation.

That accounts for part of the difference between claytons and clumps numbers. The rest could be the tendered amounts went up as well
Re: Nate Clements Franchise Tag Salary Raised Because of New CBA
If this is indeed fact.. Do you realize that two players, Clements and Moulds now currently take up about 17% of the team's 2006 , $102 million salary cap?
One guy got franchised on his rep and "upside" (it sure as hell wasnt for his 2005) and the other guy arguably isn't even the number one receiver on the team!
Re: Nate Clements Franchise Tag Salary Raised Because of New CBA
The new CBA calls for the values of the previous year's franchise and transition tenders to be used in calculating this year's tenders.
That's just plain BS...Ralph's right-in the long run the owners are going to realize that they should have been tougher and negotiated more, instead of wiilingly bending over the tailgate for the NFLPA.

I totally agree. If the Bills knew that it was going to be over $7 million for his cap hit this year, they might not have tagged him. That's way too much for a guy like him.
Re: Nate Clements Franchise Tag Salary Raised Because of New CBA
Does the new CBA mean extend or trade Clements?
If true, I would offer him something attractive and viable. Right now, his last numbers puts him inside the top 10 CB and it's a great chance to extend him and make him finish his career in Buffalo.
CBs like him are really difficult to achieve and remember that people like him can finish his last seasons as safety if necessary.
