Seattle wide receiver Joe Jurevicius (http://www.nfl.com/players/playerpage/12484) will visit Cleveland on March 12. The two sides seem as if they are closing in on a four-year deal.

Per nfl.com

Bentley, Shaffer and now possibly Jurevicius too? Savage aint messing around in cleveland.

The Browns sign him.. and they just became a playoff team.

Great coach.. DOMINANT O line now.. Another weapon with Edwards.. Winslow returns would just be a bonus.. Underrated RB .. Damn.

And they're keeping Northcutt at least for another year.

They better hope one of their QB's steps it up this year.

Not enough. They still have the defending champs, and Cincy in their division. Reminds of the Bills signing Takeo Spikes and Sam Adams when the Pats, Jets and Dolphins had great teams. They could get away with it if they were in the NFC Central, but their team is far from a playoff team.

They may not be a playoff team but they give the Browns a lot of reasons for optimism.

For them to make the playoffs, Frye has to get a lot better, Edwards needs to 100% and Kellen Winslow needs to do NOTHING but play football.

Well, 'starting to look like a playoff team' doesn't mean they are my SuperBowl pick for this year ;) Maybe a legitimate playoff contender would be better said, but c'mon guys many of us thought the Bills were legitimate playoff conteders last year and we had a worst overall roster than the Browns have right now IMHO.

These signings should definitely improve the Browns, but they are facing the same qb scenario we faced last year.

Cleveland vs Arizona in the Super Bowl !!!! J/K

Good for both these teams for making a plunge in free agency. Hopefully the singings that we have made and will make will make people say we are a playoff contender also.

I can't help but laugh at pundits who extole the virtues of these paper tigers.

Every year one team or another spends a truck load on free agents and everyone rushes to on to their bandwagon only to realize, once the games are actually played, that you cannot buy good chemistry. The Raiders and Redskins are classic examples of this syndrome, as are the Vikings to a certain extent.

I can't help but laugh at those pundits that whenever some one says some team has now a nice look and could be a playoff contender, thay seem to take it personally and just say the first offensive thing comes to their minds :kissa:

The Browns are going to be animals on Offense next year.
