All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Given what the Bills could really use.. I would have taken Jurevicius over either of them... But oh well.
Given the likely seperation in the contracts, I think Davis is better for buffalo than El.. El's value comes as as a good returner, one of the few things buffalo doesnt need any help with.
If the cost was the same I'd go with El.. But for what the difference is likely to be, I"ll take Davis. (dont be shocked to see Reed back still)
Not sure what you are saying...you think that Randle El is a lot better than Davis, is that what you are saying?
YES. Without a question he is much better than Davis. And know I dont think El is that great. He's an average to slightly above average reciever. Davis is a well below average reciever. Stop with the comparisons though, there isnt one to be made. The guy has 25 friggin receptions over the last two freakin years.
Davis contract : a 1-year 1.3 M$ (800,000$ base salary + 500,000$ sb)
Compare to Randle El contract, I'll take Davis any day of the week and even twice on sundays!

Bro he has been hampered by a Toe Injury since mid season of 2004. You should do some research before you start posting.
Take a look at his numbers prior to the toe injury in 2004.
No one is bringing him in here to be a number 1. We gave the guy a one year contract to prove himself as either a number 2 or 3. He is costing us 1.5 at most. Randle El just racked up a 31 million contract to be a mediocre number 2 at best, maybe even a number 3.
I agree that I wish we would have given him a 3 or 4 year deal. This allows him t have a great season with us and then jet. I really think that we should have made this a multiyear deal. I hope that is wrong.
