now imagine they draft Vernon Davis.

Fitz/Boldin/Edge/Davis all on the same Offense.

Somebody asked the other day when I said let's try to pull Hutchinson away from Seattle and I was asked "why would he come here when he could stay with Seattle." Well for the same reason James went to the Cards:

FOR THE MONEY!!!

wow.... they are gonna be good if they can improve the defense. they already have boldin and fitzgerald. all they needed was a RB, now they got one.

seems like even the ****ty cardnials are improving this offseason. :sadwalk:

IF Arizona drafts V. Davis that offense is better than the Rams of the early 2000's..

If they cant make the playoffs with that team.. then Dennis Greene truly sucks

Mabe this gets the Cards off their ass and seriously considering Cutletr or Young if they fall.

if thats the case, the Bills might make a trade with them to jump ahead of QB starved Detroit

Doz.. Funny you say that..

In my Mock draft two weeks ago, I got Arizona trading with the Bills from 10 to 8.. They take Cutler and the Bills end up with Bunkley.. Its published in our draft section.

If that goes down you owe me another beer.

Either that, or now they might consider trying to bring McCown back? He would be perfect for that offense now that they got Edge. Arizona just made a great move. They've got a stud RB, 2 top WR's, a still-decent QB, a new stadium, and a ton of upside. This team is a few defensive players away from being a legit team. They just need to develop a QB because Warner won't be playing much longer.

I can't believe the Browns and Cards and the moves they've made. Looks like it's us and Detroit stuck in the basement for the next few seasons.

You must be forgetting the NY Jets play in our division.

Why jump ahead of Detroit? I would if Marrio Williams, or D'brick was on the board.

Ice. I think he meant The Cards jumping over Detroit from 10 to 8, and us going down to 10.

Good signing for the Cards. Edge is just what they've been waiting for. They still might pick a OL because they need to improve that O-line for Kurt Warner and they need guys up front to create holes for Edge.

Kind of makes you wonder about Josh McCown.

Why get out of Dodge with all those weapons? Warner is too fragile to be a starter, Navarre isn't the answer either.

Now that they got james, it might their plan to try and draft a guy like Cutler or Young by moving up. With the failure of McCown to develop as their future, they will probably need to start finding a replacement for Warner.

Big pick up for the Cards they really need something positive to happen to them.

I think this is a worse move for the Colts more than a positive one for the Cards.

The dominos fall in Indy again. First Triplett, now James. They spend a few years putting together a great offense with James, Harris and Manning that’s almost there, and then they throw off the balance with James leaving. Look how Manning was thrown off in the playoffs by a D without James being part of things. I think this will turn out to be a major reason the Colts don't do as well this year.

Edge was a more important part of that offense this season then Peyton was. Where they got in trouble is when Dungy would force the pass and try to get Manning his stats. Edge never quite got the respect from the coaching staff/front office to warrant him staying. Almost makes me hope the Cardinals can turn it around for him.

It seems that Cardinals are very confident on their lines... I wonder if James will be able to play 15% of his contract...

He likely feels like he isnt wanted after they gave Warner the extension.
