One Year... Sounds like Marv is playing it safe... If the guys limping after week 2 then it'll look like a good idea... if he is tearing up the field then we'll have to pony up next year.
It's a good deal. He has one year to prove himself otherwise.

Marv doing the right thing and playing it safe and not put a bigger contract on a injured player. Thats what it seems to me anyway.

uhh, they did. They wanted to re-sign him...but I don't think he felt wanted there.

Just like Ty Law- some of the bigger names hampered by injury will go for a 1 year deal to prove to other teams they are healthy
