View Full Version : If NO gets Brees, what do they draft?

If New Orleans signs Brees, obviously he'll be their franchise QB. Reggie Bush will be gone by then, I think. Who do they draft then? Will they trade down with the Jets and grab Brick maybe? Do we want the Jets to get Leinhart??

If NO gets Brees, after losing Bentley its a LOCK they take Brick second and build a line around him.. Or a shoulder wont be the only thing he'll be recovering from.

If they stay at 2 Brick/Williams, if they trade down (depending how far) maybe Hawk.

They need a franchise calibur LT (not many teams dont) but the problem is the Saints DL/LB's are horrible.

Honestly any of those 3 wouldnt shock me, and all 3 are critical needs.

That being said it is the Saints, so them drafting a Punter with the 2nd pick would be typical.

I've been around, just not posting. Work has laid off some people so everyone scrambling to get busy. The ones with no work get fired you know. School is also going nuts. I'm trying to get my MBA.

You still down there? I thought you were thinking about moving out.

If Texans "surprise" everybody and draft D'Brickashaw Ferguson, for sure N.O. will be shocked and will try to do as much as they can to trade down. If they can't, they will be put in the corner and might draft Reggie Bush.

In other words, NO will be sorely mistaken if they think that Brees is a better choice than Matt Leinart.

IF Houston surprises everyone and takes Brick first..

The card guy will run up to the podium so fast with Reggie Bush's name on it not even Duece McCallister will be able to catch him.

But the card guy could also run too fast and trip over the steps, breaks his ankle, and pulls a Minnesota Vikings.

Then it's Reggie Bush to Tennessee and bye bye Travis Henry.

I want Travis Henry to play for every team in the league, run for 1,000 yards each season, and then have that team take a RB in the first round of the draft.
