I really hope the NFL opens up some sort of investigation on the Redskins. It's obvious they're using shady practices to be able to afford these players. This is ridiculous.

Marv....... You suck.

Good, he wouldn't have been a good fit. We need a ball-hawking safety.

So they go from being $29 million over to signing everyone with the cap being raised $7.5 mill with not mentionable cuts and hardly any restructuring.. The math doesn't add up to me. What am I not understanding.

Marv....... You suck.

Why?

Archuletta is not a good fit for cover 2.

Some people are incredible. The Bills are not going to sign every single free agent on the market.

And Marv has forgotten 1,000 more about this game then you will ever know.

I guess Coy Wire is the answer. Worked out well for us a couple years ago huh?

Coy Wire sucks. I have said so many times. The great thing about Cover 2 is that Baker (or Leonhard) can probably cover the role of SS.

If the Bills sign Pickett (or another DT), they can draft Huff. There are also other safeties out there.

The point is FA is still young. Have a little patience.

Ok so lets put the most important position in the Cover 2 in the hands of a rookie.

Since this season is for development and improvement, it might not be a bad idea.

This will not be a playoff season, let this team learn.

I totally agree. WTF are they doing to be able to afford all this **** when they were over the cap by a ton? And this is also another reason why Ralph was right. That new CBA was a horrible deal for the small market teams. :ill:

So why even consider starting Holcomb?

We agree on this, unless JP is so horrible they are looking to dump him.

Don't be so quick to count us out of the playoffs this coming season. New England is on a decline, Miami has as many holes if not more than us, the Jets are basically starting over and could be good or could be bad.

A good draft and 1-2 Olinesmen aquisitions in free agency and we could easily be a wildcard team.

I remember when the skins did this not to long ago signing every FA available only to have a bust season. I hope the same thing happens again to them

Does anyone know if Troy Vincent is capable of playing SS? There are alot more FS in the draft that we could grab a top one with our 3rd or perhaps a decent one with our 4th...of course, if Baker or Leonard can, then maybe we're okay at that position and we can grab the next FS that will eventually replace Vincent...

Dr. Lecter

With a Cover 2 scheme, the difference between the FS and SS is minimal, so Vincent probably cold play SS.

So who would play FS? Baker?

Dr. Lecter

Baker. Leonhard. Huff. Another guy the Bills have yet to sign. I wold keep Vincent at FS and let the newbie play SS though.

Not really sure yet. FA is young. The draft is 6 weeks away.
