Dolphins | Contract update: L. Shelton
Mon, 13 Mar 2006 10:35:36 -0800

Free agent OT L.J. Shelton (Browns) agreed to a four-year, $15 million contract that includes a $3.5 million signing bonus with the Miami Dolphins, according to ESPN.com's John Clayton.

Well, that is a guanteed sackfest 2X per year for the next 4 years. And you wonder why they are always in cap trouble? Paying stupid contracts to average/Below average players like this!

If he's on the field, thats not a bad salary.

I hope he plays. He sucks.

What a surprise Miami signs a player the Bill fans think sucks, what are the odds. I guess we all can't make great deals like the one the Bills just had with that superbly talented TE signing.

I rarely agree with you but we needed a TE like a freaki*g hole in the head. I started a poll and all 20 responders said we needed DL/OL help but I am wrong in saying the Bills are spending their money unwisely and they like the moves, bunch of hippocrites.

You talk like we're done with FA'cy? Maybe we should've blown our money of expensive FA's. Bently and Hutch would've already eaten up our cap space and there would've have been any left for DL and our other needs.

Relax Scoob, FA'cy just started.

Ok, we will see I guess. Can't be worse than "false start "McIntosh! He was a former 1st rounder so maybe Hudson Houck can make him work :idunno:

i didn't realize the dolphins are always in cap trouble. that's good to know. how is the contract structured? if it's back-loaded, it might not be so large.
