The kid from Green Bay. He wants out, only a 600K base. Trade for him

He wants out because he doesn't want to play for $600 K

Id take him in a heart beat.

He and Lee Evans?

Then give this younger kid who was a probowler before a knee a new contract. The kid is going to be a great WR again. he is EXACTLY What this team needs opposite Evans.

Call up GB and make the trade, 3.5 mill per year deal.

Exactly. Make the call marv. Then call friggin San fran and see if they will pony up a box of tape to take moulds off of our hands. let the POS spend the last days of his career in friggin San fran.

The injury scares me but I'd definitely take him.

That might be a great idea. Javon is an amazing playmaker; He and Moulds want out, why not make a deal...Im sure its alot easier said then done, but they need to get rid of him because he wont play there anymore and a trade is more valuable to them then just cutting him.

It all depends on Farve, If he stays they keep walker. If he goes then the may consider trading him.

Not correct. Walker can't stand Favre and that is one of the reasons he wants out.

How do you figure, if Favre leaves Javon is the only chance in hell GB's offense has, Rodgers is gonna need a target.

Make the Call Marv.

Nice call! Moulds would be happy catching balls from Brett Favre (if he comes back).

Jevon Walker and Lee Evans combined with a speedy Andre Davis. Draft Vernon Davis and have McGahee running the ball. Draft O-Linemen in the 2nd and 3rd round and grab a DT in free agency...

Imagine that!

Walker also said he will never play another game for the Packers organization again. In addition, this Walker trade would fit Marv's philosophy so far...Bring in young hungry players this offseason who have only been in the league for a short time...

Im imagining that and it sounds great, but not going to happen. But this deal for Walker can get done.

Okay we can all agree that we want Javon and it definitely is do-able, but Marv doesn't know...

Sounds great in theory.. The only problem is they are about $7 million apart on the value of their contracts in base pay alone..

GB won't take on Moulds contract as is, and Im not sure Moulds would be eager to go from one losing team to another.. Where he wants to play via trade does matter because if Buffalo tries to trade him to a team he doesnt want to play, he wont budge on his contract and nobody is going to pay that much for him.

Believe me, I wish it could happen.. I'd love to have Walker and Evans

They'd be a better combo then Moulds and Price when we went 8-8...

I don't care if we trade moulds to GB. Look call up and offer GB our 4th round pick or our 2nd pick in the 3rd round. When they take it call up SF, Seattle, Carolina and Philly and ask for a 4th rounder for Moulds.

Good once, ICE. I would take Walker in a heartbeat. I can't stand favre either.

03-13-2006, 09:57 PM
Given Moulds' age and production the last couple years, I can't imagine many teams that would want to pony up 7 million to trade for Moulds. Still Buffalo could probably cut Moulds, trade for Walker, renegotiate with walker, and still pay less than Moulds' cap number for the 2006 season. The question is how much would GB want for him since they would not trade for Moulds?

What about Roscoe Parrish for Jevon Walker?

If I'm not wrong they really need depth at this position. Their top PR and 2nd WR Antonio Chatman is now a FA http://kffl.com/player/7902/NFL and Packers are in big need for a speedy WR.

The only thing that seems to be a gamble for the Bills is that any ACL tear injury is something to take care...

patmoran2006

GB is not giving up Javon Walker for Roscoe Parrish.

That would be an embarrasment, simply, to offer that.Maybe not. Roscoe Parrish is more attractive than many people think. He's practically a younger Antonio Chatman clone and his #1 WR background in Miami + his blazing speed... would make him move ahead of the ending season injured Jevon Walker.

You think GB is going to have ANY type of success this season? That's why he wants out of here so bad, to be on a contender. No way Moulds lets this happen. GB would want to restructure his deal and Moulds would have NO interest in doing that if it was with GB.

ice, no way in hell gb trades walker for a 3rd round pick.. they know he is a young probowler who they spent a first round pick to get..

Then they will sit with him on thier books as he sits home. 3rd rounder is going to be about it. Teams aren't giving up 1st round picks anymore. Hell the Vikes can't get a conditional 2nd out of cullpepper.

Well, if Moulds wants out, this is his chance - we release him on his agreement to sign with Green Bay on a new contract - but his release is conditional only on Green Bay's willingness to send us JW...

This was uncalled for. He responded to the post with a legitimate, sound argument. You resorted to insults. It just weakens your credibility and ruins decent posts you had just made in this thread.
