Harvey Fialkov, of the <A href="http://www.kffl.com/link/167">Sun-Sentinel, reports several sources have indicated that the Miami Dolphins (http://www.kffl.com/team/22/nfl) are in hot pursuit of Atlanta Falcons (http://www.kffl.com/team/7/nfl) QB Matt Schaub (http://www.kffl.com/player/9422/nfl). He is in the final year of his three-year rookie $1.85 million contract. "There have been phone calls but nothing that has made us reconsider where we are, at least at this point," Falcons (http://www.kffl.com/team/7/nfl) general manager Rich McKay told the Atlanta-Journal Constitution. "We like the player, and he plays a very important position. From our position what it would take would have to be very strong." A source said the Falcons (http://www.kffl.com/team/7/nfl) have received inquiries from several teams this offseason for Schaub, but it would take "a high pick" to possibly get him.




The Falcons would be stupid to let him go cheap, though.

My thought on this, its a ploy to show the Vikings that we have other options. This will drive Cullpeppers price down.

I think Brees is still the number one option. Ands I really think Saban does not want to part with any draft picks. But If Brees falls thru, he would go for Pepper.

My question is how come the Vikings aren't making a push for a QB...Schaub or Brees would be a good fit for them as well. They have the cap money why not unload Culpepper and make a push for Schaub or Brees.

Matt Schaub would be great under Saban, since they were great at LSU. Then they get Josh Reed and have the Miami Tigers. I like Schaub and wouln't mind seeing him in Red, White, and Blue. I hope Brees goes to NO, only because it would make the draft much more interesting.

Miami is reaching. I like Schaub dont' get me wrong, but Cullpepper, Brees, Schaub? Reaching.

Schaub will be better than Vick. I wish we had him here instead of Lossman.

I would love for him to come here and compete w/ JJp and KH. He's a different kind of qb. One that stays in the pocket like Kelly.

based on what? I'm almost sure he would love to compete for the job. KH is not gonna be here any longer because he isn't our future.
