    TITANS SIGN MAWAE AND GIVENS

Make it three free agents, the Titans signed wide receiver David Givens and agreed to terms with center Kevin Mawae Tuesday morning.

''I think David again is the prime candidate for free agency,'' General Manager Floyd Reese said. ''He's young, he's healthy, he's productive, he is as classy as anyone you will want to meet. Will be a leader on our team and to top it all off, he's got more Super Bowl rings than he's got fingers for."

Givens and Mawae make it three free agents in three days for Tennessee

DAMN IT!!! I wanted Mawae really bad. Now we are probably going to stick with Duke Preston.

hopefully they will trade for Faine.

Gooose Fraaabaaaa....Goooose Fraaaabaaaa. Relax guys. Look the Bills called and apperantly he was too expensive (mawae). Hell there is always the possiblity of taking the Center from OSU who will be a probowl type for years.

Who knows. Let FA and the draft process finish and then see where we are. Two offseasons remember?

Oh well. Free agency is a war. You win some you lose some.

If Marv wants to go with experience at C, there is still :

          Jeff Mitchell (Panthers)
          Mike Flanagan (Packers)
"Thinking is the hardest thing there is, that's why so few engage in it!"

"Between stimulus and response there is a space.
In that space lies our freedom and power to choose our response.
In those choices lie our growth and our hapiness."

"If you don't take care of your health now, you will undoubtly have to deal with your illness later!"

probowl type for years? Just because he was from the overrated Sooners team?

I'm with you bro. I think we REALLY could have benefited from having a guy like Kevin Mawae on our roster.

Mawae just showed its all about the money for him, because Tenn blows.
You could expect that from a WR though..

This SOOO Opens the door for MOulds to try and stick it Buflo by signing with NE once he's cut.

So it's either Preston, draft pick or a guy like Jeff Mitchell.

I can't believe how much they paid him. He's good, but he's also old and was injured all year.
