All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!

Free agents Ryan Pickett (DT, St. Louis) and Reggie Wells (G, Arizona) visited One Bills Drive on Tuesday. Scheduling conflicts stopped the 6-2, 330-pound Pickett, who started 59 of 75 games in five years with the Rams, from speaking to the media. However, Wells was available to answer a few questions and Buffalobills.com was there to capture the audio. Wells, a restricted free agent, started 26 of 40 games in three years with the Cardinals.

I bet Ralph tried to lowball him.
Well It is a possiblity. I have said I feel Marv and co have a plan in place. But it's Ralph that can derail that by not being willing to pay the signing bonuses.
I know he can't match the SB's put out by Cleveland, Minnesotta and Washington.

That's what worries me. Why is he in such a hurry to get out of here? They must have pissed him off or something.
2 Things. 1. NFL.com has Pickett listed at 310 lbs. 330 is a good difference. 2. Maybe he really just had a scheduling conflict that was non-work related.
The second isn't likely, but you never know. Hopefully he had a birthday party to make instead of another team interview!
