    Before bed, think on this...

How did New England build its superbowl winning team? Now think of how marv is doing things with the types of FA's being looked at.

They paid the refs for a questionable call against a certain West Coast team, and have been paying them ever since...

if were only as easy as following a blueprint.

What is cheaper, One white hat and his cronies or a major signing bonus to a bigtime FA?

It is that easy. Ignore 'Flash'. Do great scouting on draft picks. Make sure your picks in rounds 3-7 can actually contribute to YOUR system while at the same time being good athletes.

The key is COACHING. If players are coachable, they believe in your system and your coaches and you picked good up and coming guys, you WILL Start winning. Once the entire org gets a taste of that then it becomes habit.

That is the problem with the Bills, they got out of the habit of winning. During marvs time it took about 1.5-2 years for him to instill that in his players. Once it was...the rest is history.

Agreed... you also have to consider the resigning of vets.

Once your team gets that taste for winning, you have to have high character guys who are willing to sign for less to stick with your team, and not go elsewhere for more money.

THAT is how NE did what they did.

There ya go. If we can show good progress and these players start talking to thier buddies then next offseason we will be beating players off of OBD with a stick!

And then, the pass interference penalty on a Hail Mary play, where Jones(?) was nowhere near the ball.
