Re: So much for Pickett
Jesus, what is the front office doing? They bring in who they want, then let them go...This is just plain FRUSTRATING. What are they waiting for? Who is left? No one that I am excited about. DAMN IT MARV, LET's GO!!!!

Re: So much for Pickett
Looks like we're drafting one.
Royal was Marv's/Dicks type of guy and we signed him to a deal wherein some of us think was too much. It doesn't matter what the fans think, if Marv and Dick think he's their guy, they pay to get him.
The same can be said about the other positions on this team. I am not gonna let the lack of movement worry me. Not even Bellichick is active . Don't you guys wonder?

Some of the guys we didnt go after aggressively I could see.. But Pickett was the kind of player this team NEEDED to have on its roster..
We have a decent amount of cap space, I bet we're in the top half of the league , especially now after some teams blew their wad..
Why are we keeping dead cap weight like Moulds and Bennie Anderson on our roster still? Pickett could have done a lot for us.
We BETTER drop some NFL bucks on offensive linemen soon, or this team will be picking even higher next year.

The NFl hasn't seen this much big named players being released . I still think there is more to come if teams other than the redskins are not panic buying.
We got rid of Sam Adams because Marv didn't feel he fits in. Even if Pickett was a tackling machine if they didn't feel he was their guy they don't get him. Teams will overpay (marv included) for players they really want.
