I don't know alot about the cap but those seem to be pretty cap friendly deals, and most contracts are back loaded, theses appear to be pretty balanced.

IMO the art to manage salary cap is not what you pay for this player. It's how you are dead cap protected if the player simply doesn't fill expectations.

well they more than double next season so they better be productive, especially royal

that appears to leave quite a bit of cash for this season. plenty of moves left

I like that they are back end heavy contracts. That gives us an out.

I think that's pretty typical. If you see salary jump a lot between the first and second year, assume that there is a signing bonus involved. The player gets the bonus money up front, the team gets cap relief in the first year in the form of a low salary number. Everybody's happy. The salary in subsequent years is a better reflection of what the team thinks a player is worth.
