View Full Version : New Mock draft has the Bills selecting Bunkley

I'm hoping we can sign an experienced defensive tackle to go with Trips because defensive tackle is very important for stopping the run and you don't want to rely on a rookie who could turn out to be a bust. I'd rather they sign someone to start first, and then season the rookie to take over in about two years.

Anyway, i'm also liking the possibilty of trading our pick and extra compensation to the broncos for their 22 and 28. We could probably end up with Winston and Hali. We can sign a cheap RT over move Gandy to RT if Winston is not ready to take over RT. Hali could probably start and replace Kelsay at LE.

Hmm, I notice they have Kiwanuka dropping out of the first round. I wonder if the Bills might have an interest in him in the second round if he's still there at 42.

Kiwi on most mocks has dropped out of the first round.

BTW, Denver also owns the 29th pick.. not 28.. Its only one slot but with our luck we'd be picking 29th and the next Ed Reed would go at 28..

I like Bunkley better than Ngata personally, though I hold out hope we sign another DT through FA.. It's not looking good for that however as there isn't much quality left out there.

that is why the loss of pickett really really irks me..

drafting bunkley in a scenario w/ tripplett and pickett in front of him is perfect.

but it is done now.

honestly, i really wish we still had sam adams.
