If the Sabres win tonight and beat Ottawa saturday who holds the tie breaker for first place at this point?

Identical records under that scenario....I'd have to say Ottawa based on better division record, better conference record, and more goals scored...in that order.

unfortunately they still get a damn point for taking the game to overtime.

which means they're still 1 point ahead of us.

but it makes me feel good knowing that they lost to boston!

because boston SUCKS!!!!

FYI: The first NHL tie-breaker is number of wins. The second is head-to-head. The third I believe is goals for/goals against but I could be wrong.
