As part of the new CBA, many of the base salaries for players making the minimum salary in accordance with their year of service went up $40,000 per year. I am sure that Clump will have an update soon as to how much the Bills have under the cap and an explanation as to who was affected and why.
Here are some of the affected players and their new base salaries. Each is an increase of $40K. The increases of 16 players directly impacts the cap to the tune of $640,000 in cap room. Note: not all of the players count against the cap because of the Top 51 rule.
