True but they might also have the best coaching staff in the league as well and that IMO is where games are won.

I'd rather be a legit champ than a paper champ... A team full of egos with one-year wonder coach doesn't scare me. Remember Mike Moolarkey went 9-7 his rookie hc season too... Quit annointing Saban as the 2nd coming of Lombardi.

Miami's cap situation is better than ours........they were over the cap because many of their players had big roster bonuses. These can easily be converted to signing bonuses for prorating....plus they had a number of players with large cap numbers who were cut......

We had a team that year though, our QB question was answered, we had a very good LT, and our Defense got us out of holes like mad.

I know what you are saying though, and I agree. But you must admit that it would be nice to bring in some real players every now and then.
